WHAT IS UNIVERSAL ATTUNEMENT ?

Qigong is the direction for peace, it is being in tune with the natural energies of the universe, it is letting go of the things that deviate us from growing and being in a place of loving self-empowerment. It is the affirmation that we should not have to try so hard to attract the right people in our lives. Qigong is fine tuning the life force energy (qi) within the self, so that one can live in their highest quality of life. It is diving deep to what feels right, not just for ourselves, but for all of humanity and the world in which we live in. Qigong originated in the ancient Taoist philosophy of living in alignment with the natural elements; wood, fire, earth, metal and water. Its wisdom forms the basis of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.
By living the qigong lifestyle one becomes in tune with their internal and external environment. We essentially become aware of the root causes of our physical and emotional conditions and know how to properly deal with them. We also gain the knowledge of how to deal with everyday life occurrences, our external environment. Qigong is a powerful way to heal oneself and unify the body, mind, spirit and soul by acquiring the knowledge to self heal with the power of our qi (life force energy). It is not to say that medications, whether it be natural or conventional are not necessary in our society. It is the mere principle that our body is capable of doing things beyond our wildest expectations. Qigong is looking at the whole system; the way one shows up in the world, deals with their emotions, interacts with their internal & external environment, how one nurtures themselves with nutrition, and conducts themselves with their daily routine. It looks deep into our life patterns and how we can improve them with stability.
Illnesses often times manifest because of ones lifestyle, whether it is due to stress, anger, sadness, anxiety, worry, or lack in self esteem… With every breath we take there is a way to heal our traumas, our past experiences, to be present, here and now, in this moment. Qigong is about balance, self nurture, self empowerment, universal self attunement.
"When you touch one thing with deep awareness,
you touch everything."
- Lao Tzu

MEDICAL QIGONG
In Medical Qigong, a well skilled practitioner that is heart centered, will work with the clients energy pathways, also known as the clients meridian system. The practitioner emits qi through their lao gong point or “needle” fingers to influence certain points and channels of the client. The meridian system correlates with our organs. By working with the meridian system, the organs are directed to work with one another in harmony. In this form of treatment, I work with the body, mind and spirit, and include supplement/diet recommendation to support optimal health.

THERAPEUTIC BODY WORK
QIGONG SEASONAL ATTUNEMENT
To get the qi flowing properly throughout the body, sometimes it is necessary to have assisted movement and pressure on certain meridian points and tissues of the body. Through training with Healing Spirits Massage Training Program, I have developed my own techniques on moving qi through the body, removing blockages, improve circulation and tension. I specialize in a variety of techniques that all serve different purposes to treat and aid many ailments.
For best results, I may recommend 2-5 sessions depending on your current health status. Although of course, the amount of sessions is by your preference.
Each of the five seasons correlate with specific organs of the body: Spring - (Liver & Gallbladder), Summer - (Heart & Small intestine), Late Summer - (Spleen, Pancreas & Stomach, Brain), Autumn - (Lungs & Colon), Winter - (Kidneys & Bladder). An assessment, and then treatment of the Five Element Organs is performed to determine and improve balance of the Qi in the organs, based on: Excessive - Deficient (Qi Volume), Yin - Yang (Harmony), Hot - Cold, Damp -Dry, Internal - External (Influence). A recommendation of herbal medicine and qi nutrition is also acquired to better tune into the current season and to adjust.
