List of Qigong Treatments
This is a list of treatments that I offer. For a Medical Qigong session, I first tune into the meridian system and assess on what specific treatments need to be performed. Depending on the assessment, a treatment can last anywhere from 1 to 3 hours long and may also require more than one visit. A treatment session consists of multiple qigong healing forms that are listed here on this page.
Qi Assessment & Treatment
Assessing the energy frequency, volume, strength, purity and support of the Qi. Treatment consists of tonifying and strengthening these qualities of the Qi
Jing Assessment & Treatment
Assessing the volume, strength, purity and support of the Jing primordial Qi that rests within the chi center surrounded by the adrenal glands and kidneys. Treatment consists of tonifying and strengthening these qualities of Jing essence.
Foreign Energy Treatment
Removes any kind of energy that is foreign to the energy in our personal internal and external Qi fields.
Jing Qi Shen
In Chinese medical theory there are three essential energies that sustain life. These energies are the Three Treasures or Three Jewels: Jing, Qi, and Shen. This treatment strengthens and harmonizes the Three Treasures: Jing (essence), Qi (energy), and Shen (spirit) so that they are supportive and balanced with one another.
Window of the Sky
These points connect to the more spiritual functions of a persons being.
Whenever Heaven is referenced it is suggesting that the point has a connection to the spirit. The Window of the Sky points are openings that connect the Qi system with the energy of spirit and allow the shedding of unhealthy emotions. Treatment consists of working with the points individually if necessary.
The Five Shen
The Five Shen: Hun, Shen, Yi, Po, Zhi - are known to be the spirit/soul aspects of the Five Elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. At this level of the elements, we also find the Five Virtues: Faith (Wood), Propriety (Fire), Benevolence (Earth), Justice (Metal), Wisdom (Water) - the expressions of the Spirit and Soul. This treatment is designed to allow healthy full expression of the spirit and so
Soul Retrieval and Soul Spirit Connection
While the soul expresses its growth and maturation process throughout the entire physical body of the living being, the ancient Chinese determined that he/she lives in parts in each of the Yin Organs, as follow: Liver (Wood), Heart/Heart Protector (Fire), Spleen/Pancreas (Earth), Lungs (Metal), Kidneys (Water). A soul part leaves the Yin Organ within the physical body when its emotional, and sometimes physical health’s been traumatized significantly enough to cause it to feel that it is in danger. It is not possible to maintain a solid spirit-soul connection when a soul part is missing from its Yin organ. This treatment is designed to retrieve the missing soul part and place it back to its Yin organ, and harmonize the spirit and soul connection.
Spiral Field
The intention of the Spiral Field treatment is to open important Qi vortices and meridian points in the body so that their opening and expression are harmonious with one another. This is a very gentle treatment that can be particularly helpful in grounding the Qi field and bring one back to centeredness and feeling relaxed.
Trauma Imprint Removal
From an early age, and even back into past lives, energetic residue from the experiences of intense emotions relating to past events can store in “trigger spots” such as chakras and meridian points, within the Qi physiology of the physical body as well as within focal areas of the cells and tissue in the physical body. Sometimes these places of imprinted trauma align within a meridian pathway. Throughout life, these imprints accumulate in these Qi centers and parts of the physical body and will usually result in stubborn physical aches, pain, and stiffness, acute and/or chronic. Trauma Imprint Removal helps these accumulated imprints to surface and remove themselves from the Qi physiology and the physical body. As these imprints are cleared, the aches, pain and stiffness subside and permanently resolve and the life being can continue to refine and mature in soul expression.
Seasonal Attunement
During the period of 4 to 6 weeks straddling the transition of a season of an Element into the next, it is most helpful to include qigong assessment and treatment to assure Seasonal Attunement to refine and strengthen the Qi physiology and physical anatomy and prevent the unnecessary onset of illness or dis-ease. This can be mastered through the assessment, and then treatment of the 5 Element Organs within the “departing” Element to determine and improve balance and harmony of the Qi in the organs, based on: Excessive - Deficient (Qi Volume), Yin - Yang (Harmony), Hot - Cold, Damp -Dry, Internal - External (Influence).

Seasonal Atunnement assessment is also helpful in providing the information necessary to intricately design a Qi Nutrition program that meets some of the subtle lifestyle adjustments that are needed to support short-term and permanent health improvement.
Energetic Lymphatic System Drain Procedure
The Lymphatic System is a drainage system going in a one way direction to the heart (like the veins). It carries excess fluid and debris up to the heart, where it mixes with the blood and is eventually excreted. It is considered part of the Immune System because it contains white blood cells (lymphocytes) that fight infection and cancer, especially in the lymph nodes. The thymus and spleen are part of this system. It has been called the “garbage collection and sanitation department of the body”. The purpose for this treatment is to flush and clear the lymphatic system and increase strength of the cardiovascular system.
Soul Being
The soul expression is put forward and is expressed within every soul aspect of ones being. The Soul Being is divided into categories based on: Family, Work, Self, Friends, Community, & Others. This treatment is intended to harmonize the Soul Being with all important aspects of one’s life and to establish healthy relationship patterns in all of the Soul Being categories.
Chong Mo Assessment and Treatment
The Chong Mo meridian grounds into the poles of the Earth and Heaven. This meridian runs directly through the center of the body, from the perineum to the crown. It is about 3” wide and contains the “chakras”. It maintains a direct connection with the spinal cord and brain, and circulates original chi from the kidneys. This treatment encourages good flow of Qi throughout the entire meridian and central nervous system by stimulating the Chong Mo with Qi.
Solar Plexus Bowl
The Solar Plexus region is of the most common areas of the body in which the negative emotions from stress, emotional tension, and trauma are stored. In this treatment, all that is preventing the person’s Solar Plexus region from being in optimal health is removed. The bowl is then filled with fresh new Qi of the Tao.
Obstructive Qi Scarring
Negative life experiences imprint into our Qi making it more dense, hardening it (like scar tissue). This creates the scarring pattern that looks whitish with a spider web pattern or like a net held in the meridians, both the surface and internal (deep) pathways. This treatment is intended to dissolve the scarring of Qi in all meridian pathways by dissolving the karma, and getting rid of the charge to the event so that the person can move on. It is not “fixing” though allows the person to do their spiritual work. We cannot ever judge the scarring - It is the human experience that has happened to us all.
The Keys (Constitutional) Assessment & Treatment
(Command Points)
The soul of one’s being expresses itself in the mind (Shen), body (Qi) and outward emotions (Jing). To activate and refine vitality in the Jing level, Qi level, & Shen level the Qi Constitution must be harmonized so that there is a healthy Soul expression. In this treatment, fresh new Qi is transmitted through the command points and heart center to restore the Qi’s Constitution’s pure health with the imprinted message, “Continue to flow with the power, energy, and light of the “Tao”.
Specific Organ Meridian Treatment
Assessing the energy flow of the meridian pathways for all the organs, and cleansing the pathways if necessary. They are then replenished with fresh new chi and given instructions to create a strong and peaceful environment for the organ.
Five Element Organs- Master Treatment
To each organ that is not resonating in a robust 100%
- The organ’s stagnation is drained
- After all of the stagnation in the organ is removed, the organ is replenished with fresh qi balanced in yin and yang so that every aspect of the organ is healed. Messages of wisdom and healing are then imprinted into the organ meridian.
- Lastly the healing in the organ is expanded and strengthened and a protective shield is formed. An instruction is given to the qi to continue the treatment to the organ.
Entry & Exit Points
Assessing whether there is proper flow of qi through the entry points of the meridian pathways and out through their exit points. These points are instructed to wake up, open, stay awake, stay open.
Cleft (Xi) Points
Cleft, or “xi” in Chinese, points are located in every organ meridian. These points are like little wells in that they are deeper than the other meridian points and can accumulate more than the other organ points. They will collect whatever is present in your qi that is flowing through the related meridian pathway, So if your qi is healthy, it will collect and hold an inventory of these contaminants and can recirculate into and through the meridian system as qi flows through the contaminated cleft point. Also anything that the anatomy cannot absorb or understand will collect and “tuck itself away” in the Cleft Points.

Contaminations in any cleft points do not empty or resolve on their own, therefore, unhealthy cleft points can profoundly adversely affect the related meridian, and eventually the related Element, and then the related organs and principles in one’s life.
Treatment of the Cleft Points is relatively simple, yet the effects are extremely deep and profound. It is not unusual for a successful treatment of the Cleft Points to manifest a strong sense of will, power, and freedom in the being immediately afterward. If the person invests the time to practice living in and acting through heart center when his/her will is renewed, his/her relationship to the world of spirit is strengthened so that it becomes as real as his/her earthly experience. If the person continues in his/her deeply engrained unhealthy patterns, however, Cleft Points will continue close from time to time.
Meeting Points
In the energetic anatomy, there are 5 meridian points where the meridians meet that are called meeting points. These set of points are also known as “Union Points”, as they integrate all of the meridians into one energetic union, a unified field of qi. Point Spleen 21 is known as the “meeting of meeting points”; some systems consider it to be a separate meridian of its own.

A meeting point will close when an invasion has stunned the system. Cold and flu infections usually occur when one, if not more, of the upper yin or upper yang meeting points are not open.

Treatment of the Meeting Points unifies and harmonizes all of the meridians so that the qi in the meridians function as one. When the mind recognizes a meeting point, the enormous, historic qi field of all those who have treated that point in Eastern medicine is accessed, and the energetic anatomy responds exceedingly well to the treatment.
Junction Points
Each organ meridian in the 5 Element qi physiology has a Junction Point. The primary function of the Junction Points is regulation and balance of qi flow and quality in their deeper dimensions, between (1) the left and right meridian of each 5 Element organ and (2) the yin and yang organs of each Element. Strong health of the Junction Points provides protective armor in Seasonal Attunement and the Macrocosmic Orbit. It is assessed whether any of the Junction Points of the 5 Element organ meridians have a deviation or imbalance of qi flow that requires treatment. If so then the exact Junction Points with deviations will then be treated.
Spine Activation
Sometimes the Governor Vessel is healthy and strong and its Master and Couple Points are fully functional but qi flow remains difficult or blocked in part or throughout the entire spine. This is typically due to the spine being in a dormant or inactive state. The spine is an essential support structure within both the physical and qi bodies. When it is “off”, this can greatly adversely impact strength, expansion and expression of will, as well as the health of both the spine and the brain, and nervous system functions. A client will often report significant fatigue or lack of motivation, often accompanied by headaches, when the spine is “off” because it is not performing its responsibilities to support the system. In such a case, the spine should be activated so that it is “on”, alert and at peace and in harmony. The correct state of health is referred to as “Spine On”. The “Spine On” Assessment and Treatment is most beneficial to any spine and brain related treatment.
Hopi & 3D Back Integration Treatment
Energetically, the spine is the back’s manifestation of the qualities of the Chong Mo. Because the health and support of the spine is crucial to the strength and expression of the will of soul in physical life as well as to the strength and support of the spine in the body, an important part of the Spine Treatment process involves assessment and treatment of the spine’s ability to integrate its presence entirely into and through the jing-qi-shen levels within our being in a stable, harmonious manner. Two treatment methods that provide this assurance, and can be done individually as needed, or combined together, are the Hopi Back Treatment, and 3D (3 Dimensional) Back Integration Treatment.
Assessment and Treatment Focus: Brain
The Human Brain, as we know, has many important functions in the body. In this assessment we look at the qi flow, volume, yin/ yang balance, consistency and strength of the brain. We also assess the brain functions of all of its parts and treat them accordingly.
Polarity treatment
Qi Traction is most helpful treating a spinal health process. When the spinal health process radiates into the upper and lower extremities, or when there is weak and/or unbalanced qi or blood circulation through the upper lower extremities, Polarity Treatment is a most beneficial treatment to supplement the Qi Traction or other clinical qigong work performed.
Back Shu Points
Shu relates to the back. It is also translated as “transport”. Shu Points transport energy of the Spirit (Heaven/yang qi) to infuse into the 5 Element (yang fu) organs. They are located on the inner side of the Bladder meridian on the dorsal/yang aspect of the trunk, approximately 1” away from either side of the vertebral column, in close proximity to the spinal ganglia and their respective zangfu organs.

When these organs are diseased, tenderness in the corresponding Shu Point can occur. Tender or affected Shu Points are indicative of disease in the corresponding organ. Treatment consists of opening the Shu Points to allow energy of spirit and truth to flow to all organs.
Alarm Points
Also known as “Mu Points” or “Bo Points” in Chinese, transport the energy of the Earth into the organs. These points bring in the yin energy of our earthly life experience. Within Chinese medicine exists the theory that as humankind evolved, we stood up on two feet from the four feet that animals stand and walk on, and as a consequence we became involved too much in thought and slightly ungrounded.

Alarm Points can close when we do not want to bring our earthly experience into our bodies and qi system. They close when we are stunned by a traumatic event. Too much contact with television or computers can also close them.

Alarm points are located on the ventral Yin aspect of the body, on the chest, and abdomen where the qi of the respective 5 Element (zang fu organs) in infused, and are in close proximity to their respectively related organs.
The qi of the Alarm and Shu Points communicates directly with these points related organs, and the level of the Alarm Points at the front of the body corresponds to that of the Shu Points on the back. As well as being the points at which the qi of the respective organs is infused, they are also the places where the pathogenic factors can lodge, causing diseases of either the organs or of the body to surface. Treating the Alarm Points is like pushing the “re-start” button.
Endocrine System and Hormone Production Regulation
Although we rarely think about them, the glands of the endocrine system and the hormones they release influence almost every cell, organ and function of our bodies. The endocrine system is instrumental in regulating mood, growth and development, tissue function, and metabolism, as well as sexual function and reproductive processes.

In general, the endocrine system is in charge of body processes that happen slowly, such as cell growth. Faster processes like breathing and body movement are controlled by the nervous system. But even though the nervous system and endocrine system are separate systems, they often work together help the body function properly.

In this assessment and treatment, the health of the endocrine glands are assessed, along with assessing excess or deficiency in: Coenzymes, Hormones and Androgen Corticoids. Treatment consists of directing qi according to assessment.
